Hegira is a photography, print and design consultancy that was set up earlier this year by professional photography, Adam Sayer, a former Project Manager with an extensive career spanning financial services and online retail. Adam Sayer has operated under the guise Hegira for many years for both photography and Music, which has taken him all over the world, DJing and shooting events such as the Bomb Masters Graffiti Competition.
Earlier this year, Hegira’s work began to gain a following and he was booked to shoot an event for Selfridges in Birmingham, a music show at the RNCM Theatre in Manchester and produce the presenter head shots for a new up and coming radio station based in Manchester, Unity 92.8FM.
It was time for Hegira to move full time into Photography, Design & Print. The, result;

Hegira has also completed an array of freelance work in the commercial field and operates heavily in the consumer market offering his service to weddings, family events and family portraits. Hegira’s real passion is the city and city life, his artwork showcases this in abundance and is available on canvas in various outlets throughout the UK and on stock photography websites.
Hegira has also travelled with his career in music, playing some of the UK’s largest clubs from Tribal Sessions @ Sankeys, Manchester to Spin @ Sublogic, London and over the last 4 years has hosted a prime time radio slot for Unity Radio 92.8FM, a Manchester based Radio Station, every Saturday from 9pm to 11pm BST (available globally at www.unityradio.co.uk).
